Getting Started with Debs Pro Karaoke Player 2



Installing Software:

  • Download and install Debs Pro Karaoke Player 2.

  • The Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications. If you do not have the JRE, you can download and install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8.0 Update xx to run our software.
           **   Note:   You need to scroll down the page to locate the download for this specific update listed as Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8.0 Update xx.

  • Download and install Winamp

  • Download and install the MP3+G Plug-in for Winamp       Phy Systeme MP3+G Plugin

  • Optional to download and install the Pacemaker Plug-in written by  http://www.surina.net/pacemaker



  • Activating Software:

  • Download and install Debs Pro Karaoke Player 2.

  • Run Debs Pro Karaoke Player 2.

  • When the program starts, a dialog will appear indicating the program is not activated.

  • Select Activate ...  from the Help Menu to locate the Product Activation Id.

  • Select the Send Email button if you have email configured on your system.

  •     - Otherwise -  

  • Right click in the Activation Id field to copy the Id to the Clipboard.

  • Send an email to   with the Product Activation Id.

  • Select the Purchase button.

  • Follow the instructions on our Website to purchase and Register Software.



  • Getting Started:
    Once Debs Pro Karaoke Player 2 has been activated, you are ready to begin.

  • Run the program.


  • To Create a Database:
    • Select the Create Database... option from the Database Menu.
    • A message will appear confirming you want to Create a Database.
    • Select Okay to Continue
    • Browse to the directory containing your karaoke song files.
    • Select the directory you wish to add.
    • Select Okay to start.
    • There is a status area displayed at the bottom left of the application showing the file names being scanned.
    • This may take a while depending on how many files are being added to the database.
    • A message will appear when the process has completed.


    • Note:  Creating a Database will delete all existing entries from the database.
      To add files to the existing database, please follow the instructions To Update the Database.

  • To Update the Database:
    • Select the Update Database... option from the Database Menu.
    • A message will appear confirming you want to Update the Database.
    • Select Okay to Continue
    • Browse to the directory containing your karaoke song files.
    • Select the directory or file you wish to add.
    • Select Okay to start.
    • There is a status displayed at the bottom left of the application showing the file names being scanned.
    • This may take a while depending on how many files being added to the database.
    • A message will appear when the process has completed.


    • Note:  You can safely select a folder to update the files listed in the database without causing any duplicate entries to be added.

      For example:  Folder c:\Karaoke\Sound Choice\SC8202 has already been added to the database.  You have since added tracks 10 through 12 to that folder.  To update the database with the new files, simply select the entire folder.  Only the new files in the folder will be added to the database.

  • Using the Singer History
    • Select the Search History Button from the Singer History panel.
    • Select the Add Venue Button located at the bottom of the Singer History dialog.
    • Enter the name of the Venue.
    • Select Okay to Continue.
    • The name of the new Venue will be displayed in the Venue list located at the top of the Singer History dialog.
    • Close the Singer History dialog.
    • All singers added to the Play List will automatically be saved in the Singer History for the selected Venue.
    • Repeat these steps to add additional Venues.

  • Using the Add Files Button to Add Tracks to the Play List:
    • Select the Add Files Button from the Play List Options panel.
    • Browse to the directory containing your karaoke song files.
    • Select the directory or file you wish to add to the Play List.
    • You can add a single directory or file.
    • You can add multiple directories or files by holding down the Ctrl or Shift key when selecting files.

  • Using Drag N Drop to Add Tracks to the Play List:
    • Press and hold the left mouse button to select the directory or file you wish to add to the Play List.
    • Drag the directory or file to the Play List area.
    • Release the mouse button and the file(s) will be added to the Play List.

  • To Play Tracks Queued in the Play List
    • Double clicking the track in the Play List will play the current song.


    • Additionally, you can select a track by clicking the left mouse button on the track in the Play List.
    • A selected track will be displayed as highlighted.
    • After selecting a track, press the Play Button to play the current song.
